1、System Introduction

The automatic monitoring system for dam safety fully utilizes modern detection technology, communication technology, network technology, and computer technology to sense the deformation, seepage, stress, hydrology, meteorology, and other data of the dam through corresponding sensors. The remote monitoring terminal unit RTU on site collects signals from the front-end sensors through wireless or wired means and preprocesses and stores them. According to the requirements of the system data transmission system, the RTU automatically reports or receives instructions from the management center and reports relevant parameters to the information center. The data is processed, counted, compiled, analyzed, and warned in the management center to improve the real-time, reliability, and accuracy of dam safety monitoring, timely predict the dam's bearing capacity and possible events. At the same time, advanced video surveillance systems can be used to observe the operation of rivers, reservoirs, and culverts in real time, providing intuitive image information for leadership decision-making. The establishment of the system enables relevant personnel in the water resources department to dynamically grasp the operation information of reservoirs in real time, providing the water resources department with as comprehensive and accurate information as possible.
